I'm thinking of trying out Final Fantasy XI. Downloading the trial Never liked MMOs though. Should I?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$This game is challenging, but rewarding. If you die, you lose experience even if you find someone to revive you. Also, if you play a class like Dragoon, your not gonna get many party invites. White Mages, Bards, Red Mages, Black Mages, Paladins, Warriors, Thieves, Rangers, and Ninjas are the classes parties want.
My suggestion is to try it out and if you think you'll like it, then try and convince some people who have the same schedule to come play with you. If you don't, then try something easier like WoW or wait and see if FF XIV will be something more to your liking.
