I'm thinking about getting a bike trainer. What do you think fluid or magnetic?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Go for the fluid. There is a possibility of leaks over time but having variable resistance without having to leave the bike or flip a lever is a huge plus and will make your training more realistic and more enjoyable.

Don't do it. Those things just set in the corner forever. They are so boring nobody actually uses them. Spend your money on something you will actually use.
