I'm looking for information on Los Angeles Zoo coupons

Specifically, wondering if anyone has used the Go Card and what other near by attractions it is good for. Other than the Go Card, what's the best coupon for a family of four?
Tip for best answer: M$0.51
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Coupons to the Los Angeles Zoo have been rare in the past couple of years which is why I bought a membership last summer (and for a good cause). The accompanying image shows a $10 off LA zoo membership. The Promo Code is 11004FFW. I just received the coupon yesterday via email because I have a Family Membership.

Here is the information from the LA Zoo website on memberships:
**** quote ****
* FREE unlimited admission to the Los Angeles Zoo for one full year
* FREE or discounted admission to more than 140 zoos and aquariums – including 15 in California
* FREE guest passes
* Members-only events, including Member Appreciation Morning and Merry Members’ Nights holiday celebration
* FREE subscription to the award-winning Zooscape newsletter and Zoo View magazine
* 10% discount at Zoo restaurants and gift shops
* FREE members-only docent led walking tours
* Discounts on ZooCamp, Wild Wonders Slumber overnight, birthday parties and educational programs
* Discount on Music in the Zoo tickets
**** unquote ****

Tax-deductible cost is Individual $45, Couple $60, Family $75, and Family Deluxe $125.

I would suggest the Family membership where all your children (and grandchildren) are free. You can give your free passes to friends. While the LA Zoo is certainly NOT the San Diego Zoo it is big enough for small children (and their parents) to get tired walking up and down this hillside zoo.

The Pachyderm Forest opens in 2010 so this will be interesting to see.

It's going to be pretty hard to find discount tickets for the L.A. Zoo, given general admission is only $13 for adults. If you are traveling from out of the area, I recommend that you pass on the L.A. Zoo and continue south to the San Diego Zoo. The San Diego Zoo is by far superior to the L.A. Zoo!

Here are some coupon codes for the San Diego Zoo:
