I'm heading to San Francisco at the end of the month. What would you recommend to see/do for someone on a budget

Walk or bike across the Golden Gate Bridge, wander through Golden Gate Park, drive down Olvera Street, explore Fisherman's Wharf. San Francisco has a great public transportation system, so take advantage. And definitely take a ride on a cable car!
