If you don't have it yet, Tap Tap Revenge 2 is a great, free game... it's basically the touch version of Guitar Hero.
For $0.99, you could try Flight Control (4.5 / 5 stars on App Store), which is a simple, fun, and addicting game where you play the role of an air traffic controller (I promise it's a lot more interesting than it sounds).
If you're willing to spend some more, I highly recommend Rolando ($5.99, 4 / 5 stars)... it's quirky, but fun and engaging. If you're into racing, you could try Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D ($5.99, 4 / 5 stars), Need for Speed Undercover ($6.99, 4 / 5 stars) or Real Racing ($9.99, 4 / 5 stars). The latter is well-reviewed and is supposed to be amazing...
