I think people start blogs with good intentions of blogging regularly but it gets to be quite a chore to try to keep up with all new material. I find the way I am doing the blogs make it easier for my readers and myself. :-)

M$I think the best motivation to ensure that you post regularly is to have a group of enthusiastic readers who message you and ask you to answer their questions or write about certain topics. It's kind of a catch 22 situation though, as you usually have to blog for a long time and write a whole bunch of quality content before you get your own dedicated base of readers.
