If your "rush-week how-to task" is accepted, but you are not chosen to be on the "how-to team", shouldn't you get feedback as to why?

And if you are not chosen for the how to task team, are you supposed to do another rush-week task? Sorry this doesn't seem clear on the how to join the how to team page or anywhere else...

** Just found out I actually had made the team, but maybe this is a worthwhile question for others who didn't make the team. I would advise you to get in touch with your advisor on the page to double check if you think there was a mistake, that paid off for me!

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hey, I'm glad you got everything worked out! Welcome to the How To Team!

Your question is a very good one. When I first started here, I was unclear on a bunch of the same stuff you're bringing up now. First of all, I think there should be feedback as to why a person DOESN'T get accepted to the team when their task IS accepted. That would be incredibly helpful, especially because a lot of people doing the Rush Week tasks are new to Mahalo itself and could use a little extra info.

Your second question: And if you are not chosen for the how to task team, are you supposed to do another rush-week task?

Yes, you can do one per week, and if you don't get chosen for the team, by all means, do another! Doing a Rush Week task each week really ups your chances on getting onto the team anyways, so why not?

Hope this helps, and congrats again! Great page by the way!

Best,
MVK

Congratulations on being accepted to the team, and thanks for posting this question. I'm still waiting for my RUSH-WEEK assignment.
