If your plane was Highjacked by Terrorist would you try to stop them?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would rather go down fighting, and know that I gave my life in an attempt, all be it a failed one, an attempt all the same to save it.
Personal hope and survival instinct

M$The outcome of a hijacking could be anything, from the cliched "Take me to Havana" to the horrific events of September 11th. The problem here, is that you will not know what outcome it will be until it is too late. It's not a question of what would happen to me. It's not even a question about what would happen to the other passengers. What it comes down to, is what might happen if nothing is done. We have seen the outcome of that, and on that same day, we saw how it could be stopped.
For me, it wouldn't be a decision of "if" but a choice of "How" to stop them.

M$Bullets have this nasty habit of overpenetrating the target, and moving on to other targets. These secondary unintentional targets could be other passengers, vital parts of the aircraft itself, or even other parts of your own body depending on the situation. So you see, that rule really is for the general safety of everybody. And really, if you think about it, how many hijackings have happened in the past few years involving firearms being the weapon? It's not a coincidence that use of firearms in hijacks has decreased since they stopped letting you carry on the plane.
