If your partner was a doctor and he had confessed to you he had deliberately caused a psychopathic dictator to die, what would you do?

Frankly, I think that plot line is a bit weird to begin with. I'm wondering if it's the old - if you could have done something about hitler before he became dictator knowing that what he would do - would you do something about it? So here we have a plotline where the character did something about it and becomes a basket case. I'm thinking that the thought of the millions of lives that were saved would justify the one lost (the many over the few or the one) but I suppose that depends on a few factors. For instance, the family of the one lost might not be as grateful as the millions. I don't know how much in character this plot line really is for the doctor in question. He never struck me as one to be so easily broken, but then again I haven't watched the show in a few seasons really. I catch it here and there.

M$I would support his decision. Admittedly my value of human life is rather low.. I wouldn't lose a perfectly good husband over the loss of one less than perfect human being at his hands. It would be irrelevant to me that said person was killing millions, simply that he was a bad person.

ahhh see I missed that part because I don't watch it consecutively but I knew the doc was having some mental issues about it all. I'm still not sure how in character it is for him though. I can't remember him having these crises of conscience before in previous seasons.
In the story, the son tried to assisinate the dictator and he was the one who told the *cough*handsome*cough* doctor about what the dictator has done.
You know what makes me mad is the wife had already tried to goad the dictator's subordinate to assassinate the dictator before her husband did what he did. She is a really hypocritical sanctimonious bitch.
