If you were to be in a band what position would you take?

Assuming your actual real life talents had no standing, you'd just be instantly the awesome at what ever position you took, what would you want to do in a band? Would you prefer be well known and get all the glory like a lead singer or guitarist, or be in a more supportive role like a drummer or bass guitar player? Or would you really reach and be one man/woman band?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would most definitely be the drummer! I have to admit, I think chick drummers are the coolest people in the world. I really don't know they do it, but they somehow manage to be awesome. Take the girl from Skillet. I mean, she sings back up as well as drums, so it's kind of unfair, but she's my favorite girl drummer, and if I were to be in a band, I would want to be like her.

I used to watch Dawson's Creek all the time, and always admired the chick drummer that appeared in later seasons as Pacy and Jack's roommate. She had cool hair and a great British accent.

It seems like every female drummer, whether they're real or portrayed in a television series, has something special about them. They always tend to stand out, and that's why I would want to be the drummer. And hey, as Robert Fishman said in The Rocker, the drummer has the best seat in the house: right between the guitar and the base!
