If you put someones hand in warm water while they are asleep will they wet themselves?

It's true, but not neccessarily 100% of the time. I've done it before and it worked, and someone has done it to me and it worked, but we were kids. And maybe we would have "done it" anyways without the water. But I've also seen it work and not work on an adult, so I think it's kind of hit and miss. It definitely helps. A better option is whipped cream on their hand and then tickle their nose while they're sleeping.

I have researched this but can not find anything definitive or any scientific findings that conclude this is a fact. Many consider this to be a myth. I can say that as a child at slumber parties, we never once got the trick to work.

The warm water on the hand method is a method that will work occasionally, so long as the person's mind associates that feeling with urination. This is not the case for many people.

It may also depend on the hand as well, for a variety of reasons. In my opinion, the left hand is most likely to work.
