If you put a favorable review of Mahalo Answers on your blog, like I did, how much should Mahalo Answers pay?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Does anyone else pay you for putting a favorable review up?
I don't think they should pay anything since it undermines the value of your review.

Perhaps you should pay Mahalo because people will see the link to your blog in your profile and you will get more visitors.

Probably something in direct proportion to the popularity of your blog.

For example, if yours is a very frequently read blog, e.g. millions of hits per month, that will potentially bring a huge amount of traffic to Mahalo, thus they might pay you just to mention them on YOUR site.

If your blog just gets a handful of hits every so often, however, it may not be in their best interest to pay you anything.

Unless you get >30,000 hits per month .... probably nothing.

I think that Answers owes you nothing. In fact, I'd say that they, and you, would be in the wrong for paying or accepting money for that favorable review. If you want money from them, you would want to advertise for them. A review should be unbiased, not put up with hopes of receiving funds.
