If you like Kanye West, explain in short detail why?

Him and his music
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I like Kanye for two reasons:
1) Whether he composes original tunes or reuses someone else's, he does justice to the score.
2) More importantly.. I'm not tired of his music yet.

So far he hasn't produced anything that I think I'll keep listening to for decades to come. But that doesn't make him a bad artist for me; just not the best one out there :) Besides, he's been active for less than a decade. He's got way to go. May be in coming 8-10 years, we'll see what happens.

I am not one who is a big fan of kanye because of the fact that he is the self-proclaimed voice of our generation but I do have many friends who are big supporters.

Their reasons for liking Kanye are not so much for his writing abilities or his singing talent; rather they appreciate him for his skills as a music producer. Evidently Kanye can weave tones and tracks together in such a way that people can't help but listen.

That's what I have gathered from my conversations with them at least.

Because he's from Chi-town, his beats are original and he's got a good flow. I like that he isn't afraid to take chances with his music. He's true to himself and I respect that.
