I bet you never knew the BLT Sandwich even had its own wikipedia page!

But, the BLT is said to possibly come from the tea sandwich , which is popular in England and Britain. This sandwich is small and petite (two bites), not like the traditional American BLT that is a meal in itself. The tea sandwich is served in the afternoon, hence, with teas. It is meant to ease hunger until dinner time.
The bread is usually white with the crust removed right before serving. Typical fillings are: radishes, cucumber, asparagus, watercress, pimento cheese, smoked salmon, fruit jam, curried chicken, and egg salad.
Spreads used are: butter, cream cheese, or mayonnaise.

I'm a bunny... but when it comes to BLT's I'm not a dummy!
You cannot be serious to quote John McEnroe, a bunny removes the lettuce?
I also attach the "Bunny Song" from Veggie Tales, I wondered what you thought of this song!

M$Alphabet Sandwich:
1 rasher of cooked bacon
2 slices of bread (any type will do)
A smear of butter
A few crisp, fresh leaves of lettuce
A few slices of tomato
1 slice of turkey
1 smear of mustard
1 roast potato, sliced and cold
Method:
1. Butter and mustard both slices of bread.
2. Dice the bacon, and scatter over 1 slice of bread.
3. Add the lettuce and tomato to the bacon-ed bread, evenly spread,
4. Lay the slices of potato on top of this.
5. Place your slice of turkey on top.
6. Place the plain, butter-and-mustard bread on top of the one with bacon, potato etc on, to create a sandwich.
7. Cut into small squares.
8. Enjoy your B-L-T-T-P-M-B-B (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Turkey, Potato, Mustard, Bread, Butter), or Alphabet Sandwich!

M$However there is the low carb version where you wrap the bacon and tomato in the lettuce and forget the bread.

M$On further thought, I note that if you combine this suggestion, removing the bacon, with my suggestion for your other question - adding fried oysters- and use French bread, then you have a New Orleans Fried Oyster PoBoy, which is one of my favorite sandwiches.
