If you had to choose only one, would you see Spring Awakening or Wicked?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I'd see Spring Awakening, because Wicked is such a huge hit that it will probably be performed many times in many productions down the road, and you'll get a chance to see it in the future. Even though Spring Awakening is also a critically acclaimed success, it doesn't have the family-friendly, crowd-pleasing feeling that Wicked has and as such might not get produced as often.

I'd go with "Wicked." Big "Wizard of Oz" fan, so naturally I'm curious, and I've never really liked Duncan Sheik. In fact, I really hate that "Barely Breathing" song from the mid-'90s.

I always love re-imaginings of classic tales, so I'd probably go with "Wicked" as well. Man, if they could only make "The Wiz" as a musical, I'd be there on opening night. Plus, I've heard that the set pieces and decorations are amazing for that one.
