If you could live in any home on a TV series, what would it be?

I love the house on Brothers and Sisters. Especially the kitchen, it's just so light and welcoming.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Tom Selleck played a private detective on Magnum P.I. In exchage for security services, he lived free in the guest house of a 200 acre beach front estate on Oahu, Hawaii, owned by Robin Masters and called "Robin's Nest." As part of his living arrangement he got to drive a sweet Ferrari GTS 308. I can't imagine a sweeter deal, unless of course I coud actually BE Tom Selleck (Magnum P.I. ).

Here's the opening theme song. Oh, did I mention he has one friend with a great boat and another with a helicopter?

OK, I'm really going to show my age here. I would live in the Walton's house, and be Gramma. I would have all those sweet people saying good night to me, but I wouldn't be in charge of them. I could help in the house and garden, do some good cooking and sewing, and listen to home made mountain music in the evenings, drink sweet Virginia well water, watch the sun go down behind the Blue Ridge, watch the chickens fluff and cluck and the rooster strut his stuff. Oh! My Bad! I'm doing all that stuff right now!

Good Night Hope, good night Rob, good night Hannah, good night Rowan, good night Bonnie, good night, Beau, Good Night GrammaJamma!

If I am single, the coolest apartment I wish I could have is the apartment from Friends. It looks cozy, it's in New York. It has enough space to share with a roommate ( I don't want to live alone) but not too large that we have hard time cleaning and taking care of it. Other apartment that looks cozy is Wilson's apartment in the House series, because he is very neat.

Oh! I wish I could be a kid again and be raised in the Brady Home!

I think I would be a much happier and more well-adjusted adult if the grownups in my life had given me that level of consideration and attention. Granted, this type of home doesn't exist in reality, but we can all dream, can't we?

Since it isn't technically a house, this may be cheating, but it is a home! The spaceship Serenity from the series Firefly. It a cargo ship, so there is a lot of great storage, plus the decor is awesome.

Hmmm, this is where I try and think of the biggest and most expensive home I've ever seen on a TV series. This could be harder than I thought. Caleb Nichol bought a pretty big place on "The O.C." Caleb was one of the wealthiest people in Newport Beach and still couldn't really afford it.

I've found some info on the property, which does exist in real life. It has 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and has 10,500 square feet in total. I was hoping for something in the 20,000 to 30,000 square foot range but this is the best I can come up with. Apparently it had an asking price in 2009 of $9,000,000:

Short-term, Monica's apartment on Friends. Not only is it huge and bright, but apparently they can watch the Macy's parade from their building, and they have a coffee shop on their 1st floor.

Long term, I don't want to live in an apartment all of my life though, and I wouldn't want to live in New York. Too loud and crowded.

Actually, if it was a real house, how nice would the Simpsons' house be? 4 bedroom, 2 bath, big living room with fireplace and bay window, big den/TV room, big kitchen, separate dining room, basement, two car garage, big fenced back yard, and in a nice neighborhood. I'd live there! :)
