If you could have any designer create some clothes for you, who would it be?

If you had a chance to select any designer taht is around today to create some clothes for you, who would you choose? Who is this person, and why would you choose them? There are many different designers that create clothes to compliment many different trends and styles, which one suits you the best? Do you wear clothes from this designer now? Or would this be a one time deal?

Picking one designer would be a tough call for me, since every fashion designer also tends to have their own personal style, and my own style tends to cross the realm of several different varieties at any given time. I have three different clothing designers that serve as personal favorites, however, so perhaps they could work together.

Betsey Johnson is often described as "the wild child" of the fashion industry, and for good reason. Her designs often deviate from the mainstream in many ways, and this concept probably suits me the best when it comes to fashion. Her clothing is much more laid back and comfortable than other designers', and she creates a lot of undergarments and lingerie.

For work wear, I would definitely have to go with Diane von Furstenberg. She is the fashion designer that recently made headlines with some new designs for women based on men's suits, backing that up with her belief that all women really want to wear men's clothes, but they should do so in a manner that is tasteful and "womanly." She promotes her designs as clothing for the "real woman," and she is most known for her comfortable yet elegant wrap dresses.

Donna Karan would be a close second to von Furstenberg for me, if she was not in fact on my clothing design team. She has a lot of more elegant styles for workwear and some classy formal wear, although these outfits would be something that I would wear on a rare occasion.

I wear some clothing from these designers now, but only on a limited basis. Most of the time, I am working from home, so there is very little need for dressing up. (Although Betsy Johnson underpants go with everything.) Even if I am not buying a whole lit of designer clothing, it is still interesting to shop their collections and see what is new in the world of fashion.

I would love to have anything designed by Roberto Cavalli. His designs showcase the ultimate femininity. He has been creating fabulous fashions since the early 60's originating in Florence, Italy. You can check out his truly elegant designs at www.RobertoCavalli.com.

Wish I had more, but possess only one of his creations which I purchased from a Rodeo Drive boutique. Roberto Cavalli's fashions are also available at Neiman Marcus.

If I could chose any designer in the world to design my clothing, I would choose Jeffrey Sebelia, from Project Runway. I feel like he is a bit edgy, and I love that, I also enjoy his passion.

I do not by clothes by Designer right now, I am saving that for when I am rich and famous (hehe!) Typically I am a total bargain shopper. I LOVE garage sales and saving money, so often I get .75 cent clothes. With a family, 2 kids, tight economy, I am happy to get garage sale finds.
