If you could choose to be any anime character, who would you be?
Some anime characters are so fantastically strange or powerful that it is fun to imagine being one of them yourself. Would you choose to be one of the pilots of an advanced aircraft like those in Macross Plus or a school girl with a secret identity like Sailor Moon? Would you want to be a Pokemon trainer, or even one of the Pokemon? Most anime characters do have some sort of inherent flaw, but it’s the flaws as well as the abilities that make them interesting. It would be amazing to pilot an Evangelion, even if they do only have five minutes of battery power. What would you choose?

Doctor Druid of course!
Doctor Druid was the precursor to Dr. Strange. They are not the same character. Dr. Druid was created back in the 1960’s and is considered to be one of the first Marvel heroes of the silver age of heroes.
Dr. Druid was a psychiatrist who during his studies became interested in the occult and mystic arts. He became enamoured by the legends of Tibet and the Lama’s, and sought out that teaching. He meets the Tibetan Lama known as The Ancient One and learns the occult arts.

Doctor Druid was a Harvard graduate but his interest in the occult and mysticism occupied most of his time and after training with the Ancient One he spends most of his time fighting against evil in both the physical and mystical worlds. Later due to his Druid beliefs he is empowered with even more powerful abilities of magic given to him by the Celtic Druid Gods. But in all dealings with the Gods of Anime, there is always a price or a hitch.
He falls in love with a witch and this is forbidden and he loses his powers only to have them returned to him ... His son is The Druid, a member of Nick Fury’s secret warriors.
Mystic powers, ancient wisdom, who wouldn’t want to be Dr. Druid. lol
