If you believe in a hell, do you think it is possible for some people to have a fate worse than hell while on earth?

Thinking of hell, think of some of the following:
> Imagine burning constantly forever
> Imagine being eaten alive for eternity
> Imagine thirsting forever.
> There is no God, there is no justice, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, etc
> There is no chance of escaping
> There is no chance of redemption

M$Needless to say, I don't much like the idea of hell, especially the way most religions define it (i.e. it isn't simply for bad people (and even that I'm not sure deserves infinite punishment), but for otherwise good people who just happen or choose not to believe. Yes, I've heard the original sin argument. I still don't like the idea.)
