If society objects fidelity and polygmay, why then do we give our young men congratulatory slaps on the back and high fives when they act...
Why does society "congratulate" young males on their sexual conquests?
Why do sexually promiscuous behaviors get dismissed with a "boys will be boys" attitude?

The congratulatory actions males do when men have sexual concepts is an act that is natural for men since biologically speaking, males must have more conquests to be able to multiply more. Males compete for females which we sometimes hear that males often name men who are superior as alpha males. If we see it without religion, proper behavior, proper upbringing, it is the logical explanation why men act this way.
Society is now more advanced compared to early times where people are taught proper behavior so that men and women are treated fairly. I do agree that men should always treat women fairly and act properly in the presence of the opposite sex but we also have to understand our origins in life biologically.

M$Women who expressed the same behavior were considered 'whores', yet men were considered 'studs' and 'macho'. You also see more of that role reversed with women being praised and congratulated for being 'cougars.'
In my opinion, back in the day when the 'boys will be boys' mentality existed, there were less men who were openly gay -it's just a sign of the times. I think that the gay movement has changed the acceptable promiscuous behavior attitudes that we see today. Promiscuous men were considered to be virile which was a sign of strength and masculinity. I think those attitudes have changed.
