Yes, according to my doctor the weeping blisters can aid in the spread of the rash/ blisters. If your rash covers a large portion of your body or if the blisters are large then you may want to see your doctor and request to be treated with a cortisone shot or oral cortisone treatment.
There are things you can do to help comfort yourself.
1. Oatmeal bath
2. baking soda bath
3. IVY DRY ( may be purchased without a RX)
4. Salt water bath (USE 1 cup of SEA SALT in your bath water, soak for 30 mins. this helps to dry out the skin/blisters a bit)
