Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

No, it just won't recognise it or be able to read it.
It's not the same as putting, say, a data cd in an audio player. Blu-Ray's data tracks are thinner since they are read with blue laser rather than red. Blue has a shorter wave length than red so the laser will just disperse and not read anything. It'll be like inserting a dvd-shaped piece of plastic.

No; nothing in either BluRay or DVD players comes in physical contact with the disc or changes it. These disks are read by lasers only and a BluRay disc in a DVD player would simply give you an "Unable to read disc" or similar error. There would be no damage.

This will not cause any damage to the drive or the disc. The only thing that will happen is the DVD drive will become confused and error out.

As everyone else has said, no damage will occur.

It is written in a different format (like a different spoken language), and will simply not be able to understand it.

No, it won't. If it is a DVD for movies, the only that'll happen is that you'll get a message that the disk cannot be read.
