if i have points in a bet and game ends in tie do i win?

In a bet with points, if you bet on the team that is the favorite then the team must win the game by that many points so you would lose the bet. If you took the underdog (the team expected to lose) then you would win bet. In fact the team just doesn't have to lose by more then the number of points you are getting in the bet.
