If I get a dorm, do I have to stay in it at night? I know that is a weird question but I want an apt. and a dorm....

you dont have to stay in at night but theres no reason for you to have an apartment AND a dorm, it would be a waste. Dorms are for being close to school and good for you first year or two because you don't have to prepare meals or worry as much about rent ect. There are no rules about when you can and cannot enter your dorm--but you should be courteous of your roomate if you have one.
