This game's developers have stated they aren't out for a cheap scare factor but instead just have weird, trippy experiences that might mess with your head instead.
I suppose it could be more like Donnie Darko as opposed to Saw when it comes to scariness?

You will probably not like this game. It does try and be scary and uses cound effects very well to achive this. The sound will make you jump. The game is also very dark and this makes it more scary. Lastly, there are many enemies to kill in this game which sort of look like zombies. They will surround you, overwhelm you, and sneak up from behind to scare you.
