If I ask a question that offends people, what would Mahalo do about it?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think the Mahalo community is a slightly tougher breed. We are veterans of the founding of the interwebs as we know them. We fought in the Browser wars, Flame wars, and Troll wars. We've seen the best and worst that the anonymity of the web can produce, and are, frankly, numbed by it. Deliberate attempts to offend us end in, well, being ignored, at best, and being ignored, at worst. Yes, I said "being ignored" twice. That's what we do.

M$However, if your question simply offends a user's sensibilities (e.g. where can I find nude pics of *someone*), as long as it's in the proper category, we'll keep it up.

Thank you for responding to the "NSFW" question. I love this answer. Do you think I could add you to my "contacts" list?
Thanks for the "best" pick. Bear in mind, though, that I'm just a user. If I were a moderator or staff, I'd likely have a much different opinion :)
