If Barrack Obama chose Hillary Clinton as his vice presidential running mate in 2012, would it effect your your vote?

Bob Woodward, well known political journalist, said in an interview that he came across information suggesting that President Obama is going to replace Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton in the 2012 re-election campaign. Would you be more apt to vote for or against the Obama ticket with Clinton next in line for the presidency or do you think Joe Biden is the proper selection? If you voted for Obama in 2010, but are reconsidering, does this news influence your leanings?

Absolutely not! It won't effect my vote because I would never vote for either of them. Sorry Mr. Obama, but I'd still like to see your birth certificate.

Also, I am extremely opposed to his Obama Care......already was but now, thanks to page 105 and the use of the word Dhimmitude.....our country is going down the pooper.

In case you don't know what the word means, go ahead and read about it..........in short, Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of
converting conquered remnants to islam.

Really?!?!?!? This is just great! Thank you all to voted for him! If we're not muslim, scientologists, Native American, or Amish------we have to pay a fee, or go face hard prison time if we refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Must be nice to know that we, once again, are funding someone else!

This has got to be the worst answer I have seen on Mahalo. All these points have long been debunked, are totally fact free, and are nothing but malicious fear mongering. You even have the gall to include a "source" which specifically debunks the rumor you are trying to spread, no doubt hoping people will note the respectable source without bothering to read it.

I still wouldn't vote Democrat, so no. Of course, if I were leaning towards the Democratic party, then yes it would effect my vote. Biden proves to be moronic beyond imagination every time he speaks, and Clinton could help temper some of Obama's policies, however slightly. The very fact that there is discussion about Obama/Hillary, however, indicates that people aren't thrilled with Joe Biden.

Nope, because I'm Canadian and can't vote anyways. :) But were I American, it wouldn't affect my vote since even your Democrats aren't terribly liberal compared with our parties up here. I find them only slightly to the left of our Conservative party, with the Liberals, Green, and NDP progressively more liberal.

Since I'm a liberal voter, and your Republican party is so far to the right of my political positions, I'd have to vote Democrat, as there's no other choice for me in America.

Indeed, but they draw about a half percent of the vote, if I remember correctly. At least up here they get 5-20%, depending on the riding. Still not enough to win, but maybe one day...

I voted for President Obama, even though he is not from my party, and have been extremely impressed. I will vote for him in 2012 whether his VP candidate is Biden or Clinton. Biden is doing a good job as VP but in 2016 he will be very old to be a Presidential candidate. Hillary Clinton is about 5 years younger and would be better in 2016. It also would be nice to have a first female VP and hopefully a first female President.

tp66, did you mean to make this a comment on the above answer, or were you trying to submit your own answer? I see your points, but don't see any correlation to the above answer. If it was a mistake, re-answer so that you get credit for answering and submitting your views.

I didn't want HC then; don't want her now.
Given that BO has lost his way and shows no sign on keeping his word, he lost my vote.
Why did he allow Pelosi & gang to un-stimulate the economy? It was a gift to their special interests. He sold out healthcare; how much did Max Baucus and crew take in from special interests? When will he stop blaming prior administrations and the populace?
He's a great orator but lousy administrator and leader.
He'd be better off being a preacher.

This gives me a double reason to vote against.
