If a Manifesto is just a "statement of beliefs", what would be the main subject or topic of yours?

When we hear the word "Manifesto"... it conjures up images of communists or crazies.
Karl Marx got the word off to a great start with his communist outline.
Ted Kaczynski made it a household name by mailing his to the media in the 1990's.
And now we have all read the one written by Joseph Andrew Stack who flew a plane into an Austin IRS building.

Will there ever be a time when this word will not sound so ominous?
With the understanding that you are not crazy or some kind of 'whack job'... what would your manifesto include?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Mine would include, "Same rights to ALL" no matter the amount of money you have or have access to. I have been in so many situations where the Laws, rules and regulations have not been in my favor. Most have been from my eyes discrimination. But how do you fight the law? I mean, I know what you have to do, but when you are being advised by attorneys not to fight the wrong, what to do ??
Justice for ALL !!

If I ever chose to write a manifesto, (and yes, that word does seem to have an ominous connotation to it) the topic would be responsibility. Personal responsibility for one's choices and actions, familial responsibility for raising children, community responsibility, citizen responsibility as a member of one's country, and human responsibility.

My manifesto would be on the value of rational thought, scientific inquiry, and Atheism. It would also include how morality is an innate human trait, rather than handed down by a divine being. It would cover the value of all the arts and creativity, also an integral part of the human condition, while still accepting scientific reality.

Well I guess my manifesto would be a very short topic ( no pun intended nor implied)
My grandfather was a very wise man.
His philosophy on life was summed up in a single sentence that he shared with me when the topic of the birds and the bees came up while the fish weren't biting.
He spoke to me in his serious tone and said " Little bear, this goes for your thoughts, your nose, your tallywacker and toes...never stick em in anything you can't get em out of".
Over a good many years I have, from experience, expounded a great deal upon this simply stated philosophy and found that it has been a very solid manifesto to refer to along my life's path.

Mine would have to be simply on the subject of coexisting. We're only here for so long why mess it up by making enemies and being miserable?
