If a bank opened its doors and they said they were 24/7/365 open would you change banks...?

Keep in mind the bank has half the intrest rate you currently have right now. They wont offer any of the same perks like atm fee repay or free checking etc etc. Just a plain old bank nothing special except open 24/7/365.

Nope. I haven't used a physical bank as my primary bank ever. I do online banking to get the best rates. Currently, I'm with USAA and INGDirect. I don't need 24/7 access to a bank. That's what ATM's and credit cards are for.

Now if a bank opened that allowed me to carry a gun so that I didn't get mugged on my way out of the bank, I might change banks. I never liked that banks advertise to criminals, "law-abiding citizens entering/leaving this bank will probably have money and be unarmed." Somehow the bank robbers always forget the no-guns-allowed policies. Go figure.

I find no particular value in a bank offering 24 / 7 / 365 physical access to human customer service representatives. Between web site access and ATMs capable of both deposit and withdraw, I have little reason to speak with a bank representative outside of normal business hours; ESPECIALLY if I will be paying for the service through reduced interest rates and account features.

Very useful question. As you have described, if one has to make use of bank irrespective of the other benefits he will definately prefer this one. But as far as I am concerned the mentioned facility doesnt really adds as an attraction if the bank is not offering all that described below.

No, I very rarely need to visit a bank. Most of my banking is done online or over the phone. There is nothing so urgent that it can't wait until the next day when they open.

My bank is open 24/7/365 via PC banking and ATM's.

No, I would not be lured away from my bank by another with a promise of 24/7/365 service, but with fewer "perks".
