I'd like to find reliable websites advertising jobs outside the UK

I really want to move to Amsterdam, I've been deliberating over it for three or four years now and I've decided it's time to start saving up and just do it.

Obviously I'd need to go over there with a job to walk into, but I haven't a clue where to start with regards to looking online because I've never had any experience of these sites so I don't know which ones are reliable.

I'd really appreciate a couple of suggestions, thanks :)

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Good choice. This is a great city to live in!

There is a special website for international people if you're looking for a job. You should try it: http://www.undutchables.nl/

Craigslist isn't that big in Amsterdam, most of the people are using www.marktplaats.nl You could look in the category "vacatures." But it will all be in Dutch (which you're trying to learn I guess).

This is the biggest site in the Netherlands for jobs: http://www.nationalevacaturebank.nl/

And you can always try LinkedIn.com

Good luck with finding a job (and a nice apartment)

It seems you don't need an extra answer. But there are more solutions besides the one mentioned by Dirk.

You could for example check this site for jobs immediately in the Amsterdam area: http://www.careerbuilder.nl/Vacatures/Amsterdam/. Maybe the EU site is more easily to use as that site is in English, German, French or Spanish. The http://www.careerbuilder.eu/Jobs/Amsterdam?CBLang=EUEnglish

Some EU sites with great information:
http://ec.europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/work/index_en.htm
http://ec.europa.eu/eures/home.jsp?lang=en

Or hundreds of EU links (also with NL links)
http://ec.europa.eu/eures/main.jsp?lang=en&acro=links&catId=61&parentCategory=61&orgTypeId=61&parentId=0
