I would LOVE to integrate this Twitter feature into my web site. How do you do it? Thanks!
I'm building a site for a county portal and they want a way for the public to ask questions/get answers. This is the coolest way I've seen so far and I'd like to learn how to integrate Twitter like MahaloAnswers has done. Thank you for any guidance.
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Twitter has an open API that allows developers to create their own applications, websites, widgets, and other projects that interact with Twitter. Twitter claims to offer API methods for almost every feature on their site.
There's details on the API itself, as well as links to tutorials, forums and other resources for support.

@ deeziner, What kind of community application you are using?
Thanks, I'll check it out. But I'm not a developer - I actually was hoping to find a plug in or extension I could include. Any thoughts on that?
