about Acura RSX
I would like to know what an 02 rsx type s with 55k miles on it was worth in 06
If possible I would appreciate a cited source for this information.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

As of today the Kelly Blue Book values are as follows:

From these values you would have subtract an appropriate amount for inflation based on the area you live in.
I had to make certain assumptions, not addressed in your question to arrive at these figures. You may want to go to the Kelly Blue Book site to get more accurate figures.

That is a good point @opher. I have no idea how to calculate value loss as a car ages each year. But, you are right, that would also have to be calculated into the actual value.
Thanks
This answer does not take into account that in 2006 the car was several years younger than it is now, so the answer would have been significantly higher. Had the answer suggested looking at the value of a 4 year old car today, I believe the answer would have been reasonably accurate. IMO this means the answer as is has to be NBA.
