I was trying to test my cigarette lighter in my car to see if it was hot with a tester and it sparked and now it doesn't work.
ALL the fuses are fine. I have checked, and re-checked them. It's an eighty eight Oldsmobile.

you've grounded out somewhere between the lighter receptacle and the fuse. get under the dash and follow the wires to see where it's bare and touching steel.
