I want to paint my bedroom. How much does paint cost? How long does it take to dry? How many coats? Help me I've never done this before!

You can do this... :) My Dad used to be a contracting painter... and I couldn't get him to paint my room... sooo one weekend when my parents had gone away for the weekend I was around 18 or 19 and as soon as they left I pulled all my furniture into the middle of the room, covered it and ran off to the paint store. Came back and painted away. lol.... When my Dad came home i have to say he was impressed with my job.
A good quality paint will cover about 400 sq feet. The cheaper the paint the more coats you will have to put on to make it look good. So unless you want to paint the room several times... I would buy a good quality paint. You will spend $25 to $40 dollars a gallon... of course look for sales. But buy quality paint. Drying time will vary depending on the weather and the kind of paint that you choose. When you pick your paint the salesman can give you a good idea of the drying time for that particular paint. Good Luck you can do this...
