Converting Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin requires some formulas, rgcbpaper.
You can use this formula to solve for either Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin:
C/5 = (F-32)/9 = (K-273)/5
If you are converting from Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 9, divide by 5, and add 32. If converting from Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 32, multiply by 5, and divide by 9. The formulas look like this:
F = (C x 9/5) + 32
C = (F – 32) x 5/9
You can use this formula to solve for either Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin:
C/5 = (F-32)/9 = (K-273)/5
You can use an on-line conversion calculator if you need a quick answer. This calculator from TEiJ will convert Celsius to Fahrenheit and has a table of Celsius temperatures and corresponding Fahrenheit temperatures: http://www.teaching-english-in-japan.net/conversion/celsius. CSG Network has a converter that goes in either direction: http://www.csgnetwork.com/tempconvjava.html. A Celsius to Kelvin calculator is here: http://www.metric-conversions.org/temperature/celsius-to-kelvin.htm.
To convert Celsius to Kelvin, use this formula:
K=C+273.15
Kelvin to Celsius: C=K-273.15
Kelvin to Fahrenheit: F = (K x 9/5) – 459.67
Fahrenheit to Kelvin: K = 5/9 (° F - 32) + 273
You can use this formula to solve for either Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin:
C/5 = (F-32)/9 = (K-273)/5
