I have thought of a way to analyse.
1. Alexa
You can go to Alexa, put in hubpage, bukisa, infobarrel to compare:

I put in Mahalo as well.
From the data,
pageviews (from highest to lowest) are: hubpages, mahalo, bukisa, infobarrel.
To have a more detailed analysis, you will need to find out how many “pages” are there in these websites. After that, you can then use pageviews divide by number of pages to arrive at pageviews/page.

daily traffic (from highest to lowest) (US only, as infobarrel and bukisa don’t have global data) are: hubpages, mahalo, bukisa, infobarrel
Traffic for bukisa and infobarrel are rough estimates.
I think you can write for these websites and have your own blog too.
If these websites have feeds, you can feed them into your blog.
Interconnect these websites and your blog so that they can enhance each other’s traffic.
You can also use social network websites to market or promote both your articles and blog.
Use RSS feed to feed direct to your social network and blog. Use automation.
In this way, traffic enhanced in one will bring traffic to the others.
If there is no constraint in original article to post and there is email submission of article, you can even use one email to send to few websites. Caution though to check whether there is requirement in originality and also format to use.

M$Interesting question. And great minds think alike: while I was parsing details at Alexa, I see a link has been posted to it. Since I did all of that poking around, I'll share that information here.
I'm not familiar with these sites you list per se, but there are tools available for evaluating the sites and the one I use most often is Alexa, a company owned by Amazon.
Alexa is as big as Amazon in it's scope and information collection, and looks at all sorts of aspects of Internet traffic. It is a great tool for evaluating the TYPES of traffic at any Internet site, and if you're wanting to compare viability as far as traffic for writing what will essentially be the copy that will draw advertisements and eyes to a site, then this is the first place to consult.
Here, ranked by web traffic and robustness of the activity, are the three sites you named. I ran each through Alexa, and have pulled the tables and charts into a narrative form. You can search over several periods of time, the default is 1 month but it can go out over 6 months, and for this answer I'm using three and it lets me get a good idea of the site activity:
Hubpages (http://hubpages.com/) has been online since April 27, 2005 and shows a Alexa traffic rank of 269 and number 159 in the U.S. which is about the same as 3 months ago, with some fluctuations in between. 37% if its traffic is from the U.S. and 24% from India. There are 18,648 sites linked in to it. The percentage of visits to Hubpages.com that came from a search engine over the last three months is 31 percent. The lion's share of those come from Google.com, followed by Yahoo.com, facebook, YouTube, and then various overseas and smaller sites. They have a couple of good reviews.
You can take a look at the highest humber of hits for advertising on this site as well, so if you're writing to target a certain ad (assuming there is keyword or other search metric activity) then I'd say Acai Juice, Mafia Wars Cheats, Hubpages, iphone Blutetooth Headset and Mafia Wars are your top target groups. Bukisia (http://www.bukisa.com/) is self-reported to have started in 2005. Alexa doesn't have much information about the founders. Alexa traffic rank is 4,514, with the US traffic rating it at number 2,858. There are 1,816 sites that link in, and Google is the top search engine hitting it, with hits also coming in from Yahoo and facebook.The U.S. (36%) and India (21%) are the top sources of visitors. The top search terms that bring eyes to the site are "farmville cheats" and "farmville cheat." Lots of farmville and hemroid sic searches. (They might get better results if they spelled it correctly).
There is something that appears to be mimicking the Bukisia name. The web address is the usual beginning and 3W "the-cash1234-system.com/" and is a big sales pitch. I'm not entering the entire name because that would make it a hot link here, and I think they're just trying to hijack the Bukisia traffic in search engines. The Bukisia traffic seems to be way down today, so this bogus site may be hijacking their traffic. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bukisa.com
Infobarrel.com (http://www.infobarrel.com/) has been online since January 10, 2004, and is ranked 12,911 at Alexa and gets the ranking of number 5,786 in popularity in the U.S. ranking. There are 927 sites linked in. This site has a wide range of advertising hits, topped by Tide coupons, and including subway coupons, krispy kreme coupons, zhu zhu pets in stock (?), red lobster coupons, etc. Lots of variety and lots of coupons, but very low ranking as far as the number of overall hits when compared to the other sites. On the other hand, 47% of their traffic is from the U.S., so what they don't have in total world hits they may make up for in U.S. traffic. The next largest source of viewers is India at 18%. It has several excellent reviews. 29% of the browser traffic comes in from google.com and it gets from yahoo.com and facebook, but also from hubpages. ezinearticles.com has showed up in the rankings at most of these, with low numbers, but at least it is on the radar. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/infobarrel.com#trafficstats
I hope you're still with me, because I saved the best for last. On the site info pages for any of these sites you'll see a "Compare to" row of one-box forms below the traffic and usage graph. You can enter other site URLs into each of those tables and compare all of these elements (traffic rank, reach, pageviews, pageviews/user, bounce %, time on site, and search %) in a single graph, clicking through the various categories to see how they stand up.
Alexa lets you look at the most visited pages of each site, and it lets you see (offers you links to) other sites like it. I think if you're going to research where to target your writing, you need to spend an afternoon poking around at http://www.alexa.com.

There is one broken link in here that happened when I applied the writing style of using a pair of brackets ][ (reverse these) around the word "sic" to imply that it is wrong, I know it is wrong, but I'm quoting it the way I found it. That's why there is apparently a link to a non-page.

I just saw the comment after the "asker rating".
It doesn't seem to be for me and I suspect you click the wrong answer to be BA.
Methods:
1. seek help from @coreymac.
2. If it cannot be done, I can tip you back M$2.05 and then you can tip the best answerer you have in mind M$2.05.
1 if can be done will be best. The real best answerer will get the BA (& future revenue) and 2.05.
For 2, I will still keep the BA (& future revenue) and is not very fair to the real best answerer.

I have emailed contact@mahalo.com to see if they can fix it at their end. I think they should be able to, especially now that we have revenue share for best answer - so I'm sure they would make sure that this kind of thing can be fixed as there's potentially a lot of revenue share to be had.

I've been writing for them for over a year. They have a ranking system sort of like Mahalo, where you get more revenue depending on your "clout level." They offer upfront payments and share revenue. I don't know if any other site similar to theirs offers upfront payments.

Rats!!! The Best Answer cannot be changed by Mahalo. @wy, if you didn't mind, maybe do you want to give the tip straight to @maggiedwyer? It's a shame that she won't get page revenue, but nothing can be done. Unless maybe something might be able to be done about it in the future. I'd think that in future they might bring in a way to deal with an error like this now that we have revenue share on answers.
Oh well, at least you still get the kudos Maggie, and definitely will help a lot of people out! Hope that's a consolation! I'm so sorry for your trouble and your awesome answer, and to then do this to ya! Maybe you can roar in with another revenue earning Best Answer for me soon, and this time I'll concentrate on that all-important click.
