I think Village Pizzeria is the best pizza in Los Angeles. What's your favorite?

If you've never been to L.A., what's the best pizza in your city?

Google maps or official sites of your favorite would be appreciated.
Tip for best answer: M$0.00

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Mozza is my favorite. I like Village as well as Vito's (on La Cienega near Melrose) and Joe's (Santa Monica). However, I lived in NYC for 10 years, and don't think any of these NY-style places come close to the coal-fired pizzas of Grimaldi's (Brooklyn) or John's (Greenwich Village) or Sally's (New Haven). Maybe coal-fired ovens are illegal in LA?

Mozza on the other hand is California pizza at its zenith.

Though I don't live in SoCal any more, the best pizza I ever found was Angelo and Vinci's over in Fullerton. Not only is their pizza superb their pasta is to die for. The restaraunt itself was once the stage area of an old movie theater. Unless they've remodeled, this makes for a very high ceiling and a lot of atmosphere. The only thing to be aware of is that A & V's get's very, very busy on the weekends. Rated the "Top Pizza In Orange County" by ABC7 Eyewitness News. Check them out, this is definitely one of the best Pizza/Italian restaraunts around.

Address: 550 North Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, CA 92832

Nagila pizza is the best pizza I've ever eaten, by far. On W Pico Blvd.
