I think the quality of the questions has gone down due to allowing anonymous questions. Should Mahalo stop allowing anonymous questions?

Tip for best answer: M$0.10
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Without a doubt Mahalo should stop with the anonymous questions. They are just vehicles for spam and abuse.. nothing else. No one uses them for sensitive questions like you'd think they might. However we have been told over and over by Mahalo staff that the increased traffic anonymous questions bring in will forever outweigh all of our screams for their removal. I usually do not answer them as a silent protest but even when I do answer them they seldom even get voted on and just pass away into obscurity.

Anonymous questions make me miss the Twitter questions

I think quite a number of people posting anonymous questions don't even understand they're posting a question (see "question" that says only "metamucil") - they think they're searching in a search engine.

If you do not like the questions, don't answer them!

If people do not answer them, maybe they will stop posting.
