I see equal number of interesting questions in untipped questions but nobody clicks on the interesting votes in those questions. why?

Is it just me who finds it interesting??? Or those who answer only tipped questions are clicking on interesting button???
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I always vote interesting/not interesting if they apply. To be honest, though, I am a little skeptical of who else bothers to vote and why, seeing as the top two interesting open questions are the $100 and $75 questions, and they aren't interesting at all beyond their large tip.

Good point. I agree with you :). Voting the question as interesting depends on how interesting the question is, not how high the tip is....

I will admit that I am terrible about clicking on "interesting" or "uninteresting." I have always felt that my answers/views do that for me. This is one of my (few) flaws.

Now I feel guilty. It is nice to get a few interesting votes.

Maybe they need to give points for voting interesting/not interesting to get people into the habit.

'This is one of my (few) flaws'---Any way to find out your other flaws (in Mahalo).

Is this really a question? Some times it hurts to look at what motivates people, but, like my mom said, the sooner you figure it out, the sooner you can motivate them. Obviously, the money is what interests for most, especially if you are not sure why the question is asked in the first place.
