I plan to continue teaching but need additional income. What are possible (professional) jobs that I can do while still teaching?

Tip for best answer: M$0.10
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

You might want to tutor part time. There are several SES companies that provide free tutoring to students who are deserving of extra academic attention. This is an example of SES providers in NY. I don't know what state you are in, but I'm almost positive you can find the Dept. of Ed. site for your state.

Also, you can look on Craigslist for these tutoring jobs. You have to look at when these SES providers operate, because some only work during the school year. Usually, the tutoring centers are those who work year-round.

Become online trainer/instructor or private tutor. Check out tutorz.com, become the member, fill in the profile so you can instantly get tutoring opportunities.

Tutoring is an excellent idea. You could also consider babysitting in the evening, or teaching at a community college. Even working at Borders or Barnes and Noble might be an interesting change of scenery.
