I own a set of Plantronics DSP-500 headphones that are slowly dying on me. What is a good replacement USB podcast-quality headset?

The DSP-500's have been amazing for me over the past 5 years. The foam earphones are so comfortable I forget I have them on, and the microphone's quality is beyond stellar. Unfortunately, like many DSP-500 owners, as their own sets are breaking or have given up the ghost, they have been hard pressed to find a like-quality replacement.

The requirements for the replacement headphones are:
* Must have some sort of windscreen
* Must have a good rating for long-term use. Current headphones are used for telephony >8 hours a day.
* Noise cancelling
* USB only. Do not want analog phones with a USB detachable DSP.
Tip for best answer: M$10.05
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Looks like Mr. Jason Calacanis himself asked (and got answers for) this question not too long ago right here on Mahalo.
