I noticed some pointless questions with the same person winning the best answer. Cheating what do you think?

This is only a few. I don’t want Mahalo money to be used on this kind of stuff. Who agrees.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$Lol, thanks. I thought it would be a faster way to report it since many of the actual "staff" are not on. Like @mike, he is not on, at least I do not think he is. So I want to make sure one of them gets this information. A faster way of noticing.
Yes there was tons more.
Another one.

yes, I already reported it to @mike, I think that is who I reported it too. Notice all of the silly questions.
I did, I was watching spy go by and Star Wars on TV when I noticed the similarities in the names and the speed of the best answer being chosen.
I like this public way of reporting as well .. right out in the open.
I let @popwill off with a warning, the rest are gone. If @popwill takes part in this type of activity again, he/she will also be banned.
Thank you for using the Report button, which is the proper way to get our attention on these particular issues.

M$Joined just to ask a Liverpool question and give the best answer right away to @popowill .......fishy.

I figured this question would let newbies know that cheating is not ok.
But yea.. they are all banned so you can probably close the question :D
wow, and this was after I explained to him how I can track his sock-puppets, just checked and yes, this is a new popwill sockpuppet created after I warned him... Guess that didn't last long... all banned.
thank you so much.
Thanks!
Lol, maybe because I explained to him how people earn the points when people ask questions about his topic. I knew we would catch him.

M$send the note to contact@mahalo.com or mike@mahalo.com and we'll fix it ASAP.
people are so silly that they think we--and the community--are not watching.

M$thanks, I love how i seem to be a frequent member to be stalked and harassed. Must be the hair. :P
@mysterygirl89, go see the "South Park' question for what I mean.
Sounds scary lol, but yes we are watching and we will notice! I am sorry to hear that @chriswingate I think this user should be banned then.

I don't even think it occurs to them that Mahalo might have much higher expectations than they're accustomed to on other sites. Kudos both to the Mahalo community for being proactive in promoting a higher vision and to the administrators for being responsive.

M$I was just going to say that!
Oh yes, I understand what you mean now. Yes, that is a good point, thats why they are pointless questions, just to earn some easy money.
What do you mean?
@mysterygirl89 Take a look at the first example. "Do we have soccer practice tomorrow?" is something that I'd ask on twitter or facebook.

M$Perhaps Mahalo could look for individuals who would volunteer to monitor certain pages at certain times. Yahoo! has this with their Groups system. And, these volunteers could earn M$ (plus bonuses for catching offenders) for their assistance.
Just an idea...

M$Lol, that would be nice, but either way the "Staff" Members like @mike would catch cheaters when they try to cash out.
So, if you are thinking of doing that, remember, your fellow Mahalonians are watching!

Yes, I agree with both you and Buddawiggi: exposure is the best antidote for this kind of behavior.

Thanks, yes I did this on I think only one of the questions. But I thought this way would be very effective to show new members that this is not tolerated.
