I need to sell a load of stuff on eBay. What's the best way to minimise my PayPal fees? (in the UK)
I have had a premier account on PayPal for some time, and have recently also opened a separate Personal account.
How can I best use these to accept payments (in the UK) with the lowest PayPal fees and with minimal inconvenience to my buyers? Some individual items sold may be worth several hundred pounds, and the total amount may be over £1000.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Another good way to maximize your profits is to allow payment by money orders as well as local pick up.
You may also want to first list your items for sale on Craigslist.org to see if you can sell directly to sellers in your region.

I think it's a little more complicated than this.... personal accounts cannot accept payments via credit card without charge, and I think there are limits on how much you can receive through a personal account in a given period... What I really wanted to know was how best to use the Paypal system to minimise fees. I found this page, but I think it's probably out of date: http://www.ukauctionhelp.co.uk/pphints.php
