I need a simple poem about the winter olympics for my kindergarten class. I have looked online and haven't had much luck.
*4-8 lines
*simple (short) words
*describes the winter olympics
*you can submit your own original poem or find me one
*bonus tip if it can be sang to a familiar tune (i.e., Mary had a Little Lamb, I'm a little Teapot, etc...)
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Sing to I'm a little tea pot.
once in every four years
when it's cold
people come to one place,
trying for gold
You can watch them play sports
in the snow
If they win
Their medal is gold.

M$On skates and skis they race and dance,
From different countries; they all have a chance,
To be the fastest or the best,
To win a medal; to pass the test.
They’ll compete in snowboarding, skiing, and hockey,
They’ll race in the luge, on skates, and in a bobsleigh,
They’ll figure skate alone and in pairs,
There’s even curling! (That’s not for your hairs.)
In Vancouver, Canada we’ll be able to see,
Who is the best from every country,
And when it’s all over and the medals are won,
We’ll wait til 2014 for more winter Olympic fun.
