I need a mentor to help me in writing my novel. Are there any websites someone can refer me to in seeking a mentor or an editor?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I've never posted there myself, but a friend is always recommending the Writer's Digest forums to me: http://www.writersdigest.com/Community/

Also, I can't recommend National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo) highly enough. Basically, people around the world resolve to write an entire novel in the month of November each year. The website is http://www.nanowrimo.org/. The very supportive forums at http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/forum are a good place to talk about writing and connect with other authors year-round, although they turn into a bit of a madhouse in November.

Best of luck in writing your novel!
