I need a list of facts about the actor Jonathan Frakes.

Could you please provide the following?

1) Birthdate:
2) Birthplace:
3) Spouse:
4) Height:
5) Debut film or TV show
6) Awards received
7) Charitable works (if any)
8) Other trivia (fluent in other languages, involved in any scandals, etc.?)

Please include primary sources for this information. This does not include user edited sources such as Wikipedia or IMDb.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

1) Birthdate: August 19, 1952
2) Birthplace:Bellefonte, in central Pennsylvania
3) Spouse:Soap Opera Actress Genie Francis (Married May 28, 1988)
4) Height: 6 ft 4 in
5) Debut film or TV show: NBC soap opera The Doctors. He had starred in theater performances previous, but this was his on-camera debut.
6) Awards received: Recieved no awards, but was nominated for two:
1997 - Saturn Award - Best Director (Star Trek: First Contact)
1997 - Blockbuster Entertainment Award - Favorite Supporting Actor: Science Fiction (Star Trek: First Contact)
7) Charitable works (if any): Not known for any acts of charity.
8) Other trivia (fluent in other languages, involved in any scandals, etc.?) Here's a few trivia facts taken from the IMDB page.
-Has a cow-shaped mailbox, and retrieving the mail involves inserting one's hand into the cow's hindquarters. Frakes recorded trombone tracks for Phish's "Hoist" album. Unforunately, his horn parts didn't come out all that well - certainly not as well as the horn parts recorded by the Tower of Power horn section. As sort of a consolation prize, a brief interlude on the album is called Riker's Mailbox.

-His trademark beard was acquired during the filming of "North and South, Book II" (1986). It was patterned after a style popular during the American Civil War. He liked it so much, he continued to wear it after he returned to "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987) for its second season.

-When preparing for his audition for the role of Commander William T. Riker in Star Trek: The Next Generation, he had to watch videotapes from the original episodes because he knew nothing about the original Star Trek series.

He's a pretty normal guy with a job that he loves. No real prominent acts of charity or scandal. Hope this helps!

I couldn't find everything, but I thought I'd post what I could find. It's harder when you can't use user-edited sources of course.

1) Birthdate: August 19,1952
2) Birthplace: Pennsylvania
3) Spouse: Genie Francis (actress)
4) Height:
5) Debut film or TV show: Beach Patrol, TV (1979)
6) Awards received
7) Charitable works (if any)
8) Other trivia (fluent in other languages, involved in any scandals, etc.?)

This is a very in depth interview Jonathan Frakes did with IGN.
It's a huge amount of info, and I am certain everything you need and more is in it. You can't get a better primary source than direct quotes from the person in question, themselves.

I actually learned a lot I didn't know from this interview.
Did you know he was a psychology major in college?

Check it out:
"An In-Depth Interview with Jonathan Frakes
by Ken P."
http://tv.ign.com/articles/531/531510p1.html

Note: this is like 20 pages. IT'S HUGE!
And, of course, here is a video with a reporter from his home town. The IGN interview will provide you with a lot more, but this video gives you sort of a sense of his off-camera persona.

I think the point was that you are looking for something non-wiki, that most people can't just edit. I'd recommend the source below.
