I need a good set of headphones (not earphones). Not too bulky, flat response (studio quality). Any recommendations?

For studio-quality headhpones, consider the following:
You mentioned "not too bulky," so it's worth noting that the HD380 Pro is the lowest profile of the three, and also folds flat (the SHURE headphones above do fold, but not flat). The SHURE SRH440 is less bulky than the SHURE SRH840.
You didn't specify a price, chris_morris, so it's hard to make any other specific recommendations. The above were recommended because (a) I own them all, and (b) you mentioned "studio quality," which suggests pro audio / monitoring type headphones, which all of the above are purpose-built for.
- Sennheiser HD380 Pro. This is the latest in the pro audio headphone offerings from Sennheiser, makers of the legendary (in the pro audio world) HD25 family and HD280 headphones.
- SHURE SRH840. Though this is one of SHURE's first over-ear headphones (they're known for their microphones and in-ear monitors), the SRH840 is a home run. I do think it sounds better than the HD380 Pro by Sennheiser, and for a lower price. Early user reviews on http://www.head-fi.org/forums are very positive.
- SHURE SRH440. This is the lower-priced sibling of the SRH840, but is less expensive. The earpads are not as nice as on the SRH840, but SRH840 pads do fit them, which is how I have mine outfitted (which improves isolation and overall punchiness).
