Yes, you can file an application for an extension. An Arkansas unemployment extension became effective on July 6th, 2008 and is referred to as the emergency Unemployment Compensation benefit.
To qualify for Arkansas unemployment extension you must have a base wage period that is: equal to 40 times your weekly unemployment benefit amount. 1.5 times higher than your highest quarter or 20 weeks of full time work.
