I leave for Italy in 11 days, spending a majority of the trip in Sicily. Anyone have any advice on spots I must see?

If I were in Italy, I would definitely want to get to the mainland and see the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and Venice.
