I just upgraded to Firefox 5.0. I do not have the "+" sign to the right of an open tab. How do I get the "+" sign on the Tab Toolbar?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Do you have a "new tab" toolbar icon? If you do, you can take that icon and move it to the tab toolbar.

If not, it should be in the list of icons in the customize menu (right click on any empty space in the toolbar > Customize...) It's a plus icon.

It's been a while, so I have customized the look of my Firefox a lot. I remember the plus sign being on the right side of the screen, by the tabs. I dragged it into the navigation toolbar and it became the New Tab icon.

Open the View menu, choose Toolbars, then Customize. Look up for the "New Tab" icon, and just drag it to the end of Tabs. Then just close the Customizer.
If this doesn't work for you, I propose you to use the key shortcut "Ctrl + T" to create a new tab, or you can just double-click on the empty part of the tabs toolbar (this is another simple way to open a new tab).

Hello Twinz!

What you need to do is click on the View menu on your Firefox, select on Toolbars, and click on Customize.
A Customize Toolbar screen will appear. Scroll down and look for the "New Tab" toolbar.
Drag the "New Tab" toolbar on the far right opposite the loaded tab. A "+" symbol will appear when release.
When you close the Customize Toolbar screen a "+" will be placed beside the loaded tab
